Tempered Glass

Tempered glass is produced by heating float glass to approximately 650°C followed by rapid cooling. This process creates compressive stress on the surface and tensile stress inside, making it 4–5 times stronger than ordinary glass. When broken, it fragments into small, blunt granules, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
